Christ Jesus came into the world to do the will of the Father.

"That is why, when Christ came into the world, he said to God, “You did not want animal sacrifices or sin offerings. But you have given me a body to offer.   You were not pleased with burnt offerings or other offerings for sin.

Then I said, ‘Look, I have come to do your will, O God— as is written about me in the Scriptures.’”

Lead me, guide me and teach me, O Lord!

I teach you what is the best for you, says the Lord.

"Then Jesus went to work on his disciples. "Anyone who intends to come with me has to let me lead. You're not in the driver's seat I am. Don't run from suffering embrace it. Follow me and I'll show you how. Self-help is no help at all. Self-sacrifice is the way, my way, to finding yourself, your true self. What kind of deal is it to get everything you want but lose yourself? What could you ever trade your soul for?
(Matthew 16:24 -  26 MSG)

"Show me the path where I should go, O Lord; point out the right road for me to walk.  Lead me; teach me; for you are the God who gives me salvation. I have no hope except in you."  (Psalm 25: 4 - 5 TLB)

A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun.

To honor Mary is to honor Jesus, the Son of Mary.

“Blessed are you, daughter, by the Most High God, above all the women on earth; and blessed be the Lord God, the creator of heaven.

Your deed of hope will never be forgotten by those who recall the might of God."  (Judith 13: 18 - 19 NABRE)

"Sing and rejoice, daughter Zion! Now, I am coming to dwell in your midst — oracle of the Lord.  Many nations will bind themselves to the Lord on that day.   They  will be my people,  and I will dwell in your midst. Then you shall know that the Lord of hosts has sent me to you."  (Zechariah 2: 14 - 15 NABRE)

Welcome trials as partner in progress.

The Lord teaches us through trials.

"This is what the LORD says
—  your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.

If only you had paid attention to my commands, your peace would have been like a river, your well-being like the waves of the sea.
(Isaiah 48:17-18 NIV)

"Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don't try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way.   (James 1: 2 -  3 MSG)

I will help you, says the Lord your God.

Fear, worry and doubts are not from God.

"For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.  Do not be afraid, you worm Jacob, little Israel, do not fear, for I myself will help you,” declares the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel."   (Isaiah 41:13-14 NIV)

God Never Fails!

"Why would you ever complain, O Jacob,     or, whine, Israel, saying, "God has lost track of me.     He doesn't care what happens to me"? Don't you know anything? Haven't you been listening?

God doesn't come and go. God lasts.     He's Creator of all you can see or imagine. He doesn't get tired out, doesn't pause to catch his breath.     And he knows everything, inside and out. He energizes those who get tired,     gives fresh strength to dropouts. For even young people tire and drop out,     young folk in their prime stumble and fall. But those who wait upon God get fresh strength.     They spread their wings and soar like eagles, They run and don't get tired,     they walk and don't lag behind."

in my God is the joy of my soul;
for he has clothed me with a robe of salvation, and wrapped me in a mantle of justice,
like a bride adorned with her jewels." (Isaiah 61: 10 NABRE)

"Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name  Him Jesus.  He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High,and the Lord God will give him the throne of David his father."  (Luke 1: 31 - 32 NABRE)

Glorious things are spoken of you, O Mary, for from you arose the sun of justice,  Christ our Lord.

Prepare for your celebration!

Do you have any unfulfilled desire in your heart?  Share it with your prayer partner.  You may be standing at the edge of your Promised Land.

"It seemed like a dream, too good to be true, when God returned Zion's exiles.   We laughed, we sang,        we couldn't believe our good fortune.   We were the talk of the nation's  —  "God was wonderful to them!"  God was wonderful to us        we are one happy people.

And now, God, do it again  —  bring rains to our  drought-stricken  lives  So those who planted their crops in despair  will shout hurrahs at the harvest,  So those who went off with heavy hearts  will come home laughing, with armloads of blessing.   (Psalm 126:  1- 6  MSG)

"And I am sure that God who began the good work within you will keep right on helping you grow in his grace until his task within you is finally finished on that day when Jesus Christ returns."  (Philippians 1: 6 TLB)

Blessed are you when you wait for the Lord.

The Merciful One will show you mercy when you cry out.

"The Lord will be most gracious to you when you cry out; as soon as he hears he will answer you.
The Lord will give you bread in adversity and water in affliction.
No longer will your Teacher hide himself, but with your own eyes you shall see your Teacher,
And your ears shall hear a word behind you: “This is the way; walk in it,” when you would turn to the right or the left."  (Isaiah 30: 19-21 NABRE )

The Lord knows exactly what you need.

Friday December 4th - First Friday.

9. I will bless the homes in which the image of My Sacred Heart shall be exposed and honored.

10. I will give to priests the power to touch the most hardened hearts.

11. Those who propagate this devotion shall have their name written in My Heart, and it shall never be effaced.

12. The all-powerful love of My Heart will grant to all those who shall receive Communion on the First Friday of nine consecutive months the grace of final repentance; they shall not die under My displeasure, nor without receiving their Sacraments; My Heart shall be their assured refuge at that last hour.

Do not let your hearts be troubled.

If the Lord Jesus is your light and your salvation, why is your heart ♥ troubled?

The LORD is my light and my salvation;
   whom should I fear?
The LORD is my life’s refuge;
   of whom should I be afraid?

The Lord is my light and my salvation.

One thing I ask of the LORD;
   this I seek:
To dwell in the house of the LORD
   all the days of my life,
That I may gaze on the loveliness of the LORD
   and contemplate his temple.

The Lord is my light and my salvation.

I believe that I shall see the bounty of the LORD
   in the land of the living.
Wait for the LORD with courage;
   be stouthearted, and wait for the LORD.

The Lord is my light and my salvation.     (Psalm 27: 1, 4, 13-14)

It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in people.

Are you of firm purpose? Do you trust in Jesus more than you trust in human beings?  Then you should enjoy unlimited peace constantly
Listen to the infallible word of God:

"You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!   Trust in the LORD always, for the LORD GOD is the eternal Rock."
(Isaiah 26:3-4 NLT)
