"Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you!As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”    And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.   If you forgive anyone’s sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.” (John 20: 21-23 NIV)

"They were all filled with the Holy Spirit
and spoke of the marvels of God, alleluia."  (Acts 2: 4, 11 RM)

"The love of God has been poured into our hearts through the Spirit of God dwelling within us, alleluia."  (Rom 5: 5; cf. 8: 11 RM)

As fruit bearer, whatever you ask the Father in my Name, He will give you.

"You didn’t choose me, remember; I chose you, and put you in the world to bear fruit, fruit that won’t spoil. As fruit bearers, whatever you ask the Father in relation to me, he gives you."  (John 15: 16 MSG)

"I will bear witness to You in the world O Lord.  I will spread the knowledge of Your name among my brothers and sisters.  (Psalm 17: 50 ; 21:23 RM)

Praise the Lord my soul; forget not how He forgave all your sins.

"You have changed my mourning into dancing, O Lord,
and have girded me with joy, alleluia."
(Cf. Psalm 30 (29): 12 RM)

"Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all my being, bless his holy name.
Bless the LORD, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits.

The Lord works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed

For as the heavens are high above the earth, so surpassing is his kindness toward those who fear him.
As far as the east is from the west,
so far has he put our transgressions from us." (Psalm 103: 1-2, 11-12 RM)

I find my delight in Your Presence, O Lord!

Keep me safe, O God; you are my hope.

Keep me, O God, for in you I take refuge;
I say to the LORD, “My Lord are  you.”
O LORD, my allotted portion and my cup,
you it is who hold fast my lot.

Keep me safe, O God; you are my hope.

I bless the LORD who counsels me;
even in the night my heart exhorts me.
I set the LORD ever before me;
with him at my right hand I shall not be disturbed.

Keep me safe, O God; you are my hope.

You will show me the path to life,
fullness of joys in your presence,
the delights at your right hand forever.

Keep me safe, O God; you are my hope. (Psalm 16 RM)

Consecrate us in the truth; Your Word is Truth.

"Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers.   Be shepherds of the church of God,  which he bought with his own blood.  I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. "  (Acts 20 : 28-29 NIV)

"And now I commend you to God and to that gracious word of his that can build you up and give you the inheritance among all who are consecrated."  (Acts 20 :32  NABRE)

I proclaimed to you the entire plan of salvation.

"And I did not at all shrink from telling you what was for your benefit, or from teaching you in public or in your  homes.   I earnestly bore witness for both Jews and Greeks to repentance before God and to faith in our Lord Jesus."  (Acts 20 - 21 NABRE)

"The Holy Spirit has been warning me that imprisonment and hardships await me.  Yet I consider life of no importance to me, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to bear witness to the gospel of God’s grace."  (Acts 20: 23 -  24 NABRE)

"I did not shrink from proclaiming to you the entire plan of God" (Acts 20: 27 NABRE)

When did you receive the Holy Spirit?

“Did you receive the Holy Spirit when  you believed?”

They answered, “No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.”  (Acts 19: 2 NIV)

"Paul said, “John’s baptism called for repentance from sin. But John himself told the people to believe in the one who would come later, meaning Jesus.”

"As soon as they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.   Then when Paul laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in other tongues  and prophesied."  (Acts 19: 4 - 6 NLT)

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, throughout Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”  (Acts 1: 8 NABRE)

"While meeting with them, he enjoined them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for “the promise of the Father about which you have heard me speak. " (Acts 1 : 4 NABRE)

Abba Father will grant the request you ask Him in My Name.

"At that time you won’t need to ask me for anything. I tell you the truth, you will ask the Father directly, and he will grant your request because you use my name." (John 16: 23 NLT)

"O chosen people, proclaim the mighty works of him
who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light, alleluia."  (Cf. 1 Pt 2: 9 RM)

Abba Father, give us the grace to be docile to the Holy Spirit so that we can proclaim Your wonderful works to the world.

I will not leave you orphans.

Behold, I am with you always.

"One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: “Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent.   For I am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city.”  (Acts  18: 9 - 10 NIV)

from every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
and have made us into a kingdom, priests for our God, alleluia."  (Revelation 5: 9 - 10 RM)

If the Lord asks you to wait, wait for Him.

"Jesus saw [knew; was aware] that the followers [disciples] wanted to ask him about this, so he said to them, “Are you asking each other [discussing among yourselves] what I meant when I said, ‘After a little while you will not see me, and then after a little while you will see me again’?

I tell you the truth [L Truly, truly I say to you], you will cry and be sad[weep and mourn/lament], but the world will be happy. You will be sad [grieve; have pain], but your sadness [grief; pain]will become joy." (John 16: 19-20 EXB)

"It will be like a woman suffering the pains of labor. When her child is born, her anguish gives way to joy because she has brought a new baby into the world." (John 16: 21 NLT)

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and giver of life.

The Holy Spirit reveals the truth about God.

"But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth.   He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come."  (John 16: 13

"Then when the actual day of Pentecost came they were all assembled together........ They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in different languages as the Spirit gave them power to proclaim his message."  (Acts 2: 1-4 Phillips)

Believe what you read. Teach what you believe. Practice what you teach.

"Let me now remind you, dear brothers and sisters, of the Good News I preached to you before. You welcomed it then, and you still stand firm in it.   It is this Good News that saves you if you continue to believe the message I told you—unless, of course, you believed something that was never true in the first place.

I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said.   He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said.   He was seen by Peter and then by the Twelve."  (1 Corinthians 15: 1-5 NLT)

Believe what you read. Teach what you believe. Practice what you teach.

When he comes, he will ·tell [testify; witness] about me,  and you also must ·tell people [testify; witness]about me, because you have been with me from the beginning."  (John 15: 26 - 27 EXB)

We are sorry that people without authority are upsetting and confusing you.

Authority is core to the life and survival of the Church.

"This is the letter they took along with them:
“From: The apostles, elders and brothers at Jerusalem.

“To: The Gentile brothers in Antioch, Syria and Cilicia. Greetings!"

"We heard that some men from our church went to you and said things that confused and upset you. Mind you, they had no authority from us; we didn’t send them. We have agreed unanimously to pick representatives and send them to you with our good friends Barnabas and Paul. We picked men we knew you could trust, Judas and Silas—they’ve looked death in the face time and again for the sake of our Master Jesus Christ. We’ve sent them to confirm in a face-to-face meeting with you what we’ve written." (Acts 15: 24 -  27 MSG)

It is the will of Jesus Christ that the Church be constituted to function under proper authority: "Apostles and Elders."

If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you.

If you have decided to follow Jesus, be prepared for trials.

"Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’   If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also.  If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.   They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the one who sent me."
(John 15: 20 -  21 NIV)

“Get up and prepare for action.
Go out and tell them everything I tell you to say.
Do not be afraid of them, or I will make you look foolish in front of them. For see, today I have made you strong like a fortified city that cannot be captured, like an iron pillar or a bronze wall.
You will stand against the whole land — the kings, officials, priests, and people of Judah.
They will fight you, but they will fail.
For I am with you, and I will take care of you. I, the Lord, have spoken!” (Jeremiah 1: 17 - 19 NLT)

"Jesus said to his disciples:
“As the Father loves me, so I also love you.
Remain in my love.
If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love,
just as I have kept my Father’s commandments
   and remain in his love.

“I have told you this so that

Receive My Peace and Live in My Peace.

"Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]"   (John 14:27 AMP)

"Let the peace ·that Christ gives [of Christ] ·control [rule; arbitrate] your ·thinking [hearts], because you were all called together in one body [the church as the body of Christ] to have peace. Always be thankful."
