To follow Jesus everywhere

"For wherever you go, I shall go, wherever you live, I shall live. Your people shall be my people, and your God will be my God." (Ruth 1: 16)

Ruth showed loyalty to Naomi. The Holy Spirit gives us this scripture as an example of how to serve and follow Jesus. Our goal in life should be:

  • To know the heart of Jesus intimately
  • To love Him passionately
  • To follow Him everywhere

Help us God.

Come to the Wedding

"Tell those who have been invited: Look, my banquet is all prepared, my oxen and fattened cattle have been slaughtered, everything is ready. Come to the wedding." (Matthew 22: 4)

The invited guests were given a timely reminder of the wedding feast. They chose to ignore the invitation and the reminder. Each had his convenient excuse. They behaved as if the wedding party is a daily affair. Jesus Christ continues to invite His friends to the wedding banquet every Sunday. Many choose to ignore the invitation. This is a mysterious and said trait in human character.

Keeping Vows

"I have made a promise before Yahweh which I cannot retract." (Judges 11: 35)

Keep the vows you have made to Yahweh.

Jephthah kept the vows he had made to Yahweh. May the Holy Spirit remind us of all the vows we have made to Yahweh.

A Generous Employer

"You too go into my vineyard." (Matthew 20: 7)

In the vineyard, there is much work to be done. The owner of the vineyard pays a fair wages to all the workers. The Lord Jesus is a generous employer.
