Rejoice in the Lord always!

"Rejoice in the Lord always; again I say, rejoice.  Indeed, the LORD is near."  (Philippians 4: 4, 5 NABRE)

"Jerusalem will be told:     "Don't be afraid. Dear Zion,  don't despair. Your God is present among you,     a strong Warrior there to save you. Happy to have you back, he'll calm you with his love  and delight you with his songs."
(Zephaniah 3:16 -  17 MSG)

"See, God has come to save me! I will trust and not be afraid, for the Lord is my strength and song; he is my salvation.  Oh, the joy of drinking deeply from the Fountain of Salvation!”  (Isaiah 12: 2 - 3 TLB)

A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun.

To honor Mary is to honor Jesus, the Son of Mary.

“Blessed are you, daughter, by the Most High God, above all the women on earth; and blessed be the Lord God, the creator of heaven.

Your deed of hope will never be forgotten by those who recall the might of God."  (Judith 13: 18 - 19 NABRE)

"Sing and rejoice, daughter Zion! Now, I am coming to dwell in your midst — oracle of the Lord.  Many nations will bind themselves to the Lord on that day.   They  will be my people,  and I will dwell in your midst. Then you shall know that the Lord of hosts has sent me to you."  (Zechariah 2: 14 - 15 NABRE)

Happy Feast Day, Our Lady of Guadalupe!

Welcome trials as partner in progress.

The Lord teaches us through trials.

"This is what the LORD says
—  your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.

If only you had paid attention to my commands, your peace would have been like a river, your well-being like the waves of the sea.
(Isaiah 48:17-18 NIV)

"Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don't try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way.   (James 1: 2 -  3 MSG)

I will help you, says the Lord your God.

Fear, worry and doubts are not from God.

"For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.  Do not be afraid, you worm Jacob, little Israel, do not fear, for I myself will help you,” declares the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel."   (Isaiah 41:13-14 NIV)

God Never Fails!

"Why would you ever complain, O Jacob,     or, whine, Israel, saying, "God has lost track of me.     He doesn't care what happens to me"? Don't you know anything? Haven't you been listening?

God doesn't come and go. God lasts.     He's Creator of all you can see or imagine. He doesn't get tired out, doesn't pause to catch his breath.     And he knows everything, inside and out. He energizes those who get tired,     gives fresh strength to dropouts. For even young people tire and drop out,     young folk in their prime stumble and fall. But those who wait upon God get fresh strength.     They spread their wings and soar like eagles, They run and don't get tired,     they walk and don't lag behind."
(Is 40:27 -  31  MSG)

You shall name Him Jesus.

"I rejoice heartily in the Lord,
in my God is the joy of my soul;
for he has clothed me with a robe of salvation, and wrapped me in a mantle of justice,
like a bride adorned with her jewels." (Isaiah 61: 10 NABRE)

"Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name  Him Jesus.  He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give him the throne of David his father."  (Luke 1: 31 - 32 NABRE)

Glorious things are spoken of you, O Mary, for from you arose the sun of justice,  Christ our Lord.

Tired of the Journey?

Do you feel stressed out by long and often arduous journey of faith?
Receive the word of God with faith:

"With this news, strengthen those who have tired hands, and encourage those who have weak knees.  Say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, and do not fear, for your God is coming to destroy your enemies. He is coming to save you.”   (Isaiah 35:3-4 NLT)

Great exploits are promised only to those who know their God and know how He works.  Think of the clouds of witnesses Up There
