COME AND SEE WHERE I LIVE TODAY.

Come and See Where I live.

“John was standing with two of his disciples, and as he watched Jesus walk by, he said, “Behold, the Lamb of God.”

"The two disciples heard what he said and followed Jesus. Jesus turned and saw them following him and said to them, “What are you looking for?”

"They said to him, “Rabbi” (which translated means Teacher), “where are you staying?” He said to them, “Come, and you will see.” So they went and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day. It was about four in the afternoon.

"Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter, was one of the two who heard John and followed Jesus. He first found his own brother Simon and told him, “We have found the Messiah,” which is translated Christ. Then he brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, “You are Simon the son of John; you will be called Cephas,” which is translated Peter.” (John 1: 35 - 42).

Sunday January 14 in the 2nd Week in Ordinary Time.

To His future companions who were asking where He lives, Jesus said simply:  "Come and see." We think that these men are looking for more than brick walls and roof. They are attracted to the Person of Jesus and want to know Him more.

We know as a revealed truth from Scripture and the teachings of the Sacred Magisterium that Jesus is truly present in the Blessed Sacrament in the Tabernacle. Truly Present, Body, Soul and Divinity.

Andrew and his friend (probably the Apostle John himself) accepted the invitation of Jesus "to come and see." They stayed with Jesus till 4 pm that day. Staying with Jesus for hours made them lifetime friends and disciples of Jesus.

Do you believe that Jesus is present in the Tabernacle in the Blessed Sacrament of the Altar?

Jesus is present in the Tabernacle day and night. He is waiting for people to come and visit Him and see how He can reward them. "Come and see” what Jesus will do for you by visiting Him in the Blessed Sacrament.

“Faith in Jesus and in the power of His Holy Name is the greatest spiritual force in the world today.... " (Blessed Henry Suso - 1290 to 1365).
