Seek ye first Jesus then Ask and Receive

Do you acknowledge the sovereign control of Jesus over your life and destiny?

“Keep the Sabbath day holy. Don’t pursue your own interests on that day, but enjoy the Sabbath and speak of it with delight as the LORD’s holy day. Honor the Sabbath in everything you do on that day, and don’t follow your own desires or talk idly.

Then the LORD will be your delight. I will give you great honor and satisfy you with the inheritance I promised to your ancestor Jacob. I, the LORD, have spoken!”  (Isaiah 58:13-14 NLT)

Share your bread with the hungry

What happens when you hear the cry of the poor?

“No, this is the kind of fasting I want: Free those who are wrongly imprisoned; lighten the burden of those who work for you. Let the oppressed go free, and remove the chains that bind people.

Share your food with the hungry, and give shelter to the homeless. Give clothes to those who need them, and do not hide from relatives who need your help."
(Isaiah 58:6-7 NLT)

Choose this Day life and prosperity

Are you discouraged by the fact that many of your prayers have not been answered?

“Now listen! Today I am giving you a choice between life and death, between prosperity and disaster.  For I command you this day to love the LORD your God and to keep his commands, decrees, and regulations by walking in his ways. If you do this, you will live and multiply, and the LORD your God will bless you and the land you are about to enter and occupy.   (Deuteronomy 30:15-16 NLT)

Receive the Grace God offers Today

Do you realize that Lent is the most acceptable time for favors and reconciliation?  Jesus delivered me from addiction to tobacco at the beginning of Lent 1987.

"For God says, “At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.” Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation."
(2 Corinthians 6:2 NLT)

"Today, if you will hear His voice,  Harden not your hearts." (Psalm 95:  8 AMP)
Happy and Joyful Lent!

View events from the perspective of Jesus

Do you hassle to make things happen before their times have come?

"Why are you reasoning and saying it is because you have no bread? Do you not yet discern or understand? Are your hearts in [a settled state of] hardness? Having eyes, do you not see [with them], and having ears, do you not hear and perceive and understand the sense of what is said? And do you not remember?   (Mark 8:17-18 AMP)

Offer the Best of your Time, Talent and Treasure

Do you struggle to offer your time, talent and treasure to Jesus?

"When it was time for the harvest, Cain presented some of his crops as a gift to the LORD. Abel also brought a gift—the best of the firstborn lambs from his flock. The LORD accepted Abel and his gift,  but he did not accept Cain and his gift.   (Genesis 4:3-5 NLT)

"Then the LORD said to Cain, “Where is your brother Abel?” “I don’t know,” he replied. “Am I my brother’s keeper?”
(Genesis 4:9 NIV)

Ask for healing with expectant faith

Do you know that your extremity is God's opportunity?

"And a leper came to Him, begging Him on his knees and saying to Him, If You are willing, You are able to make me clean."   (Mark 1:40 AMP)

"Moved with compassion, Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” he said. “Be healed!”
(Mark 1:41 NLT)

I believe in prayer
I believe in the word of God
I believe in miracle
I leave the rest to God
