The Lord Himself will complete our Journey of Faith.

Our faith rests on very solid ground.  Rejoice!

"For I handed on to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the scriptures; that he was buried; that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the scriptures;  that he appeared to Cephas, then to the Twelve."  (1 Corinthians 15: 3 -  5 NABRE)

"And if Christ has not been raised, then all our preaching is useless, and your faith is useless."
(1 Corinthians 15:14 NLT)

Ask something of Me and I will give it to you.

Solomon asked for the gift to govern well as a king.  I ask for courage to bear witness to the Truth.

"God said to Solomon: Whatever you ask I shall give you."  (1 Kings 3: 5 NABRE)

"Give me an understanding mind so that I can govern your people well and know the difference between what is right and what is wrong."  (1 Kings 3: 9 TLB)

"The Lord was pleased with his reply and was glad that Solomon had asked for wisdom." (1 Kings 3: 10 TLB)

The Character of David: Trust, Dependence, Worship, Repentance and Obedience.

David - A Study in Bible Character.

"David had called upon the Most High God, who gave strength to his right arm to defeat the skilled warrior and establish the might of his people."  (Sirach 47: 5  NABRE)

"With his every deed he offered thanks to God Most High, in words of praise."

"With his whole heart David loved his Maker and daily had his praises sung; He added beauty to the feasts
and solemnized the seasons of each year."  (Sirach 47:  8 - 10 NABRE)

Do this and you will succeed always.

"When the time drew near for David to die, he gave a charge to Solomon his son.

“I am about to go the way of all the earth,” he said. “So be strong, act like a man,  and observe what the Lord your God requires: Walk in obedience to him, and keep his decrees and commands, his laws and regulations, as written in the Law of Moses. Do this so that you may prosper in all you do and wherever you go. " (1 Kings 2: 1 - 3 NIV)

I confessed my sins and the Lord blotted out the record of my sins.

"What happiness for those whose guilt has been forgiven! What joys when sins are covered over! What relief for those who have confessed their sins and God has cleared their record.

"There was a time when I wouldn’t admit what a sinner I was.  But my dishonesty made me miserable and filled my days with frustration.  All day and all night your hand was heavy on me. My strength evaporated like water on a sunny day until I finally admitted all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide them. I said to myself, “I will confess them to the Lord.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone."  (Psalm 32: 1 - 5 TLB)

Anna spoke about the Child Jesus to all who were expecting the Good News.

“Now, Master, you may let your servant go in peace, according to your word, for my eyes have seen your salvation, which you prepared in sight of all the peoples,
a light for revelation to the Gentiles,
and glory for your people Israel." (Luke 2-  29 - 32  NABRE)

And coming forward at that very time, Anna gave thanks to God and spoke about the child to all who were awaiting the redemption of Jerusalem."  (Luke 2: 38 NABRE)

Go home to your family and announce all the Lord has done for you.

"Jesus asked him, “What is your name?” He replied, “Legion is my name. There are many of us.”   And he pleaded earnestly with him not to drive them away from that territory."   (Mark 5: 9 - 10 NABRE)

“Go home to your family and announce to them all that the Lord in his pity has done for you.”  Then the man went off and began to proclaim in the Decapolis what Jesus had done for him; and all were amazed."  (Mark 5: 19 - 20 NABRE)
