The more you know who God is and how He works, the more you enjoy His favors.

"May God give you more and more grace and peace as you grow in your knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord."

"By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence." (2 Peter 1: 2 - 3 NLT)

"And this is the way to have eternal life -- to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth."  (John 17: 3 NLT)

You enjoy God's favors in proportion to your knowledge of God and Jesus Christ.

They all ate and were satisfied.

"He fed them with the finest wheat
and satisfied them with honey from the rock."  (Cf.  Psalm 81 (80): 17 RM)

"For I pass on to you what I received from the Lord himself. On the night when he was betrayed, the Lord Jesus took some bread  and gave thanks to God for it. Then he broke it in pieces and said, “This is my body, which is given for you.  Do this in remembrance of me.”

In the same way, he took the cup of wine after supper, saying,“This cup is the new covenant between God and his people — an agreement confirmed with my blood. Do this in remembrance of me as often as you drink it.”  (1 Corinthians 11: 23 - 25 NLT)

Is money threatening the salvation of your soul?

"Looking at him, Jesus felt a love (high regard, compassion) for him, and He said to him, “You lack one thing: go and sell all your property and give [the money]to the poor, and you will have[abundant] treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me[becoming My disciple, believing and trusting in Me and walking the same path of life that I walk].”

Today is the Solemn Feast of the Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.

"We confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.

"We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance.   And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.   And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love." (Romans 5: 2-5 NLT)

We picked men we knew you could trust, Judas and Silas—they’ve looked death in the face time and again for the sake of our Master Jesus Christ. "The Father and I are one.”
(John 10:30 NLT)

Jesus the Christ is true God and true Man.  Not 50% God and 50 % Man.  But 100% God and 100% Man.  This is a great mystery.  We believe even though we do not understand.

The Narrowgate leads to a rich and satisfying life.

The Thief and the Good Shepherd.
The Broadway and the Narrowgate.

"Yes, I am the gate. Those who come in through me will be saved. They will come and go freely and will find good pastures.

The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life."
(John 10:9-10 NLT)

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.  But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."  (Matthew 7:13-14 NIV)

Have you washed your robe in the Blood of the Lamb?

"After this I saw a vast crowd, too great to count, from every nation and tribe and people and language, standing in front of the throne and before the Lamb. They were clothed in white robes and held palm branches in their hands."
(Revelation 7:9 NLT)

"These are they who have come out of the great tribulation (persecution), and have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."
(Revelation 7:14 AMP)

"‘Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat down on them,’ nor any scorching heat..... ‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’”   (Revelation 7:16-17 NIV)

Your word Lord, are Spirit and life.

"The Spirit alone gives eternal life. Human effort accomplishes nothing. And the very words I have spoken to you are spirit and life."
(John 6:63 NLT)

The Holy Spirit gives us life through the Eucharist.  The Eucharist is the Real Flesh, the Real Blood, the Real Presence of Jesus the Christ.

"When His disciples heard this, many of them said, This is a hard and difficult and strange saying (an offensive and unbearable message). Who can stand to hear it? [Who can be expected to listen to such teaching?]"  (John 6:60 AMP)

Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood remains in Me and I in him.

“How can this man give us [his] flesh to eat?”

"Jesus said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you.  Whoever eats  my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day."

"For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink.  Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him."  (John 6: 52 -  56 NABRE)

The Eucharist is the medicine of immortality.  (St Ignatius of Antioch)

For those who honor my Sacred Heart, I will give them all the graces necessary in their state of life.

"Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life."  (John 6: 47 NABRE)

"Now this is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ."  (John 17: 3 NABRE)

Eternal life is knowing God and knowing how He works.
Eternal life is knowing that Jesus is true God and true Man.
Eternal life is belief in Jesus as Savior and Redeemer of all mankind.
Eternal life is a gift of Jesus.
Eternal life begins here and now.

Those who love their life in world will lose it.

"Saul was one of the witnesses, and he agreed completely with the killing of Stephen.   A great wave of persecution began that day, sweeping over the church in Jerusalem; and all the believers except the apostles were scattered through the regions of Judea and Samaria.

(Some devout men came and buried Stephen with great mourning.)  But Saul was going everywhere to destroy the church. He went from house to house, dragging out both men and women to throw them into prison."
(Acts 8:1-3 NLT)

"Amen, amen, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains just a grain of wheat; but if it dies, it produces much fruit."  (John 12: 24 NABRE)

I am the Bread of Life ; whoever comes to me will never hunger.

"Then they said to Him, Lord, give us this bread always (all the time)!"
(John 6:34 AMP)

"Jesus replied, I am the Bread of Life. He who comes to Me will never be hungry, and he who believes in and cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me will never thirst any more (at any time).
(John 6:35 NIV)

"It takes more than bread to stay alive. It takes a steady stream of words from God's mouth."

Don't be consumed by perishable stuff

"But don’t be so concerned about perishable things like food. Spend your energy seeking the eternal life that the Son of Man can give you. For God the Father has given me the seal of his approval.”   (John 6:
27)

" But Jesus told him, “No! The Scriptures say, ‘People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”  (Matthew 4:4 NLT)

"But He replied, It has been written, Man shall not live and be upheld and sustained by bread alone, but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God."
(Matthew 4:4 AMP)

"Jesus answered by quoting Deuteronomy: "It takes more than bread to stay alive. It takes a steady stream of words from God's mouth."   (Matthew 4:4 MSG)

"They replied, “We want to perform God’s works, too. What should we do?”

"Jesus told them, “This is the only work God wants from you: Believe in the one he has sent.”
