THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH WILL GUIDE US TO THE FULLNESS OF TRUTH.

THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH WILL GUIDE US TO ALL TRUTH.

"Jesus said to his disciples: “I have much more to tell you, but you cannot bear it now.

"But when he comes, the Spirit of truth, he will guide you to all truth.

"He will not speak on his own, but he will speak what he hears, and will declare to you the things that are coming. He will glorify me, because he will take from what is mine and declare it to you. Everything that the Father has is mine; for this reason I told you that he will take from what is mine and declare it to you.” (John 16:12 - 15).

Wednesday May 8th 2024 in the 6th Week in the Easter Season.

THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH WILL GUIDE US TO ALL TRUTH.

This is the great Promise of Jesus Christ in today's Gospel. So what is Truth?

God is truth and the foundation of truth. Although the second Person of the Holy Trinity says: I am the truth, the way and the life. Truth and Faithfulness are the essence of each Person of the Blessed Trinity.

The Holy Spirit is promised to guide us to All Truth. Not partial truth. The scientists do great work and perhaps have discovered less than 2% of reality visible and invisible. But unfortunately, some scientists would like us believe that they have discovered 50% of the truth or reality in the world.

The Holy Spirit guides us to all truth. We focus here on the truth that concerns Eternal Life. For example:

1. Who is God?

2. Who is Man and what is his origin and destination? Who is Jesus and why did He become man.

The Holy Spirit guides the Catholic Church to the fullness of truth.

The Catholic Church is "the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of truth." (Cf 1 Timothy 3: 15).

Did you get that? The Church is the pillar and foundation of the truth. It is the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth that makes this possible because of the promise of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is concerned with the Fullness of Truth.

The Church honors the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Month of May.

Honor Mary through the Holy Rosary, Litany, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Consecration to The Immaculate Heart of Mary, Pilgrimages, etc.
