"Do not let your hearts be troubled. You have faith in God; have faith also in me. In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places." (John 14: 1 - 2 NABRE).
Our heart is anxious and troubled over health, family, and money issues. Sometimes, it is over our possessions and tools. Some people spend sleepless nights worrying about the future.
But God tells us:
"Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus."
(Philippians 4:6-7 NLT)
Below is the prescription of one who is human like ourselves:
"Let nothing trouble you,
let nothing frighten you.
All things are passing;
God never changes.
Patience obtains all things.
He who possesses God lacks nothing: God alone suffices." (St Teresa of Avila).
