JESUS CHRIST. THE JEHOVAH WHO HEALS UD.

JESUS HEALED THE DEAF AND THE MUTE.

THE GOOD NEWS:

"Then he returned from the region of Tyre, and went through Sidon to the Sea of Galilee, through the region of the Decapolis.

 And they brought to him a man who was deaf and had an impediment in his speech;

and they begged him to lay his hand upon him.

And taking him aside from the multitude privately,

he put his fingers into his ears, and he spat and touched his tongue;

and looking up to heaven, he sighed, and said to him, "Ephphatha," that is, "Be opened."

 And his ears were opened, his tongue was released, and he spoke plainly.

  And he charged them to tell no one; but the more he charged them, the more zealously they proclaimed it.

And they were astonished beyond measure, saying,

"He has done all things well; he even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak." (Mark 7: 31 - 37).

FRIDAY February 13th in the 5th Week in Ordinary Time.

Ever since the sin of Adam and Eve caused the loss of their original innocence, Poverty, Ignorance and Disease followed man and woman as their curse and inheritance.

God was not indifferent to the plight of Man and Woman.

Remember what happened when Adam said Eve were driven out of Paradise.

They sewed leaves to cover their nakedness. Adam and Eve were astonished of their nakedness because they lost their original innocence because of the sin of disobedience and they discovered their sexuality.

God tailored some appropriate clothes for them.

With sin, enters sickness and disease, poverty and ignorance.

God became Jevohah Rapha. That is, the Lord God who heals us.

Healing becomes one of the most important attributes of the expected Messiah of Israel.

Have you recognized this truth?

Jesus Christ is the Jehova who heals our mind, body and soul.

The Church honors the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph in February.

On Our Lady’s Maternal Heart:

 "In the Holy Family, Mary is the heart, the source of love. Through her, the Holy Spirit poured forth the grace that sustained the Savior of the world."

( St. Ambrose).
